Well, my friend is here and he was about to shoot off my AUG, and I just got done with a 3 round burst and all i heard was click click. The battery wasnt hot or anything, I think the gears might be broken or something. We still heard a click, but the gears didnt actually turn or anything. Man, I hope i didnt buy a lemon......

Wen u hear that click, it's the motor trying to move, u may have to replace either your piston, or gears.
Be carefull though if you try to do it yourself, that spring is probably most of the way compressed, but try not to let it sit real long, that can weaken your spring.
Iv had this happen a few time, usually it's just the piston, no bid deal, u gan get a polycarbonate one from Power edge USA for like $9.
The polycarb pistons are lighter and stronger.
hmm, same problem as i had, cept mine is upgraded, running on a 9.6, and 2 years old.

well, mine is upgraded too. I run it on a 9.6. It is 5 years old.
So, if it is the piston, should i try to replace it myself. I have only been playin since Sunday... I rather have someone else do it because I have no idea how to do it..
If the gun just clicks like the motor is trying to turn then the gearbox is locked up. You probley do NOT have to replace anything.
All you have to do is take the g.b. out, remove the motor, reach up inside the g.b.with a pick and pull the anti-reverse lever down. This will allow the g.b. to return to it's "neutral" position.
Sometimes you can get them to crank over with a higher voltage battery, somtimes not.

dammit Tank you beat me to it. Rarely do you have to replace something when its locked.
i will disagree with what timmay and tank have said (no offense), unless its just really really bad luck on my part. its just the three times that my g.b. has locked up it has been the piston completely destryoing due to high fps, gears and piston destroying due to full auto, and then piston breaking due to weak constuction.
maybe it was just bad luck on my part but all three times the a/v latch has not done anything for me.
