I seriously think this thread can be locked... Do we really need it? I mean, GS, stick with the name you have until you find a new one or are given one. It might take a bit, but its one that you won't want to change as quickly.



Typical rule of thumb (IMO) is don't have a callsign with something like "sniper" or ""**gun name/type***" because you might end up switching roles, or guns... and then what?

Well this should have given you about a 100 new possible names, and while some were interesting, some did have some merit. So, I guess that should answer your request for a new name.

Oh, and by the way, asking someone that doesnt know you to give you a nickname is like asking for someone to pick out a pair of underwear for you. Sure, you might just like one or two of the choices, but the rest are going to be riding up in places that you didnt know fabric was supposed, or even able, to go.

In the end, you have to live with the name, so you should choose something that you are willing to have people call you by. Though, there may be a name or two that will catch on when you are on the field enough to let people get to know you.
