I used to have a TM Task Force Delta 1911. lasted one skirmish and broke, not to mention it only chrono'd around 80. just get a springer or save up for a gas gun

If the gun only chrono'd at 80fps, there was something wrong with it in the first place.

I'm thinking that that isn't an AEP, but rather an EBB.

And yes, I do have the G18c AEP. It's a wonderful gun, and a great sidearm. Its ROF is spectacular. The hop-up is adjustable. It has all the quality one would expect from a TM product. If you're at BHD, find me and you can take some shots with it.

ok, i'm a bit confused... what's the difference between an EBB and AEP? They're both electrically powered. Is it a different power source? or different build?

An AEP has a metal gearbox buil into it, the slide is fixed, and it runs off a custom 8.4v 200mah battery. They are Full and Semi Auto, and shoot about 12rds a second.

They shoot about 120ft @ 210fps ish w/0.2g bb's.

Since they mave metal gears and guts, they are heavy, being marui they are also very well built, or solid.

Hope this helps Sgt

Is it a different power source? or different build?Black_Kade pretty much summed it up. both guns are made by Tokyo Marui, but the AEPs ("Automatic Electric Pistol" as they've been coined) are of much higher quality than Marui's EBB ("Electric Blow Back") line. here is a review of the Glock EBB (http://www.airsoftretreat.com/features/reviews/g18c_ebb/) over at Airsoft Retreat, and a review of the Glock AEP (http://www.airsoftretreat.com/features/reviews/tm18caep/) by the same guy.

(the AEP actually uses a 7.2V battery, but that's neither here nor there. the EBBs use 4 AAA batteries i believe.)

Yep it's 4xAAA batts & comes with a box of .12s. EBB's are not in the same league as AEP's.
