help with avatar

I have been trying to make an avatar but I cant get it to fit the size limits. anyway I could e-mail somebody a copy of the pic i want as my avatar and somebody resize it for me?

I'm not sure what kind of PC you're using (i.e. Mac or Windows), but you should be able to open the picture in MS Paint, go to Image -> Attributes, and choose the width and height in pixels. Then just save it off and upload it to the system.

I have the pic down to 80x80 but it says the file is to large IE its to many KB

What type of image is it? .gif, .jpg, .png? You can save it as .jpg and compress it by 20% and it will save it smaller.
