Please, calm yourself. The rules here are a bit strict with regard to such things. Personally I cannot see that your thread was a violation of the rules, but the mod has made his decision. While I agree that it may have not been appropriate, I think you are out of line right now. Your not solving this through a reasonable discussion via PM is more "ridiculous" than the mistake that the moderator may or may not have made.

Furthermore, I feel that you are letting your emotions get in the way of your argument; I am sure the moderator would be more willing to reconsider if you were a little more tactful or polite, instead of the acrimonious behavior you are now showing. Just my 2 cents, and nothing more. Please try and resolve this matter through the proper channels instead of publicly venting your displeasure.

This might have been cleared up with a simple message and response before, but now other members of this board may step in and make comments that you find offensive, and before you know it, feelings will be hurt and people will be pissed off. I do not wish this to happen, and, in the interests of this board and your reputation, I ask that you try and resolve this.

Please forgive me if I have seemed overbearing; I simply want you to have a smooth entrance into this sport, and I don't want anyone to have the stigma of being "that a-hole on the forums who was always whining about his thread being locked."

nothing anyone could say would seem offensive to me LOL... I was just venting how one type of payment is bad but another is good.. A PM to me to say hey i think this is in violation could you rephrase this or just make it a wtb or want to trade for a such and such without mentioning the computer.. but instead just locked and closed.

Uhh... thats what a moderator does. Thats what they are here for, to stop things from starting.

One person posts how they want to trade their computer for an airsoft gun, then it gets to wanting to sell their bicycle for money for an airsoft gun, then it goes to selling anything they want.

Its nothing against you, its just what they are there to do.

The WAA forums are really well policed. The rules here are strictly enforced. Have you tried posting in the Wisconsin Airsoft Players Forum? It is way looser in their rules and a lot of the posters from the WAA post there too. It might be a good place to trade the computer for an AEG.

Here is the link

The only problem is that the forum is rather cluttered. WAA is a great forum because of its topicality and policing.

Good Luck With Your Trade

As this is a Airsoft forum we only allow Airsofting equipment to be listed in the buy and sell forums, rather it be a cash sale or a barter.
