I am looking for an airsoft team around the Janesville Area. I do not mind anywhere around rock/walworth county.
I prefer a team that is active and does organized squad tactics.
I do not like run and gun type play. Hence why i do not play paintball anymore.
This is all new to me so i am also looking for an inexpensive electric rifle to buy to test out before i pay 300+ for a nice Tokyo Marui rifle.

The only team close I can think of is the guys at the dragons lair. Good field awesome group of guys. They are up in Fort Atkinson. Other than that, there are the guys up in Baraboo, and then alot around the Milwaukee area.

Good luck with that, but frankly its a fairly wide gulf between a $300 TM and a $100 UTG. Testing how much you like the sport playing with that will get you a fairly big margin of error, so you have to adjust your estimates for getting beaten pretty bad in engagements at range.
However, that's not to say that wouldn't work at all. I started on $20 spring pistols playing at my friend's land in Menomenee Falls, got hooked,
and finally saved up enough for my uber P90. So go for it!
Incidentally, most people here don't use the cheaper guns, so you may not have a lot of luck looking for them in the Buy & Sell section. I would recommend Power Edge USA (http://www.poweredgeusa.com/) or Airsoft Atlanta (http://www.airsoftatlanta.com) for buying retail equipment.

I have decided to go with TM or Classic Army for my rifle choice. (see the buy and sell i got a trade offer up :) ) I want a rifle like i seen in the stores that look and feel exactly like the RL counterparts. I would really like an M16 or M4 as i was in the marines and I have always wanted to own an AR-15 but never had teh 800-1200 bucks to spend on something that would hang on the wall LOL.

Hmm, I have an AR-15 I might be willing to part with. You don't hang them on walls, you go varmint(sp?) hunting with them.

heh varmint hunting huh.. i went crow hunting with my SKS (composite stock, 30 round banana clip, open sites) and at 500 m i could make a puff of feathers with my hollow points LOL. but nothing much was left heh. but then again that is 7.62 x 39 rounds.
heh let me try and get my fake one first LOL... are u going to be at the next skirmish at dragons lair?

I am actually going to be getting the TM SG 552 from lanny from this classified section. Sounds good..been researching it and sounds like it will be a good fit for both woodland and cqb.
