Hi!

My name is Harri and I just heard that I will spend my exchange year in Wisconsin. ;) Anyway I love airsoft and I would like to continue doing it in the States. A few questions: Is there any laws about bb speed in Wisconsin? Where in Wisconsin could I find airsoft events; is there any places where you play regularly? Is there anyone here who is studying in Oconto High School?

Great to see an international airsofter here. From what I've seen, Finland seems to have some pretty intense airsofters. The generally established rules for Wisconsin are full-auto guns firing no more than 400 feet per second and semi-automatic snipers firing no higher than 550. Also, players under 18 are required to wear full-seal goggles while those over 18 have the option of wearing shooting glasses or other non-seal eyewear as long as it meets the ANSI Z78.1 standards.

Field seem to be popping up all over. Perhaps a Green Bay team/player could give you more information on what's available in your neck of the woods. Otherwise, there are many games each month, mostly in the town of Adell.

Howdy, Jun Wen has covered most of it. But if you could get a ride from one of the many green bayers to gary's field for a game, im sure they would let ya. Hope to meet ya soon!

Be sure to look for the next AEC in the Events and games section.

As far as FPS limits it’s 550fps MAX, and anything over 400fps is considered a sniper weapon and has a 100ft engagement limit. Also no fire under 10ft. That is generally accepted at most fields

Some of the more commonly known fields are: The Wargame Room (Adell, WI)
Dragon Lair (Ft. Atkinson)
Apocalypse PB
We up here in the GB area also have some local games every now and then, perhaps you could join us, Oconto area isn’t to far.

Again, Welcome to the Forums!
