Prices are a bit higher, but they have excellent customer service. They test their guns before shipping them out and will contact you with options if there's a problem.

I bought most of my stuff there, and I was completley satisfied with everything. No trademards though.

Why do they take off the trademarks anyways? I am buying from garys tonight and I hope it has the trademarks on it.

I haven't bought anything from them, but I have heard good things, and had heard about the trademarks issue Roadkill mentioned.

If trademarks are significant to you, I picked up my P90 from Depot53 (http://www.depot53.com/) down in Texas. They have pretty good package pricing and my P90 came with full trades.

I bought my M4 from them and the first game I got to play with it it Died. RTO had to fix it and one of the gears where broken. RTO said "Your spur gear, the big flat one, has three teeth cracked completely off, and another one partially cracked off." This is after I had them upgrade the gun. Other then that the gun works fine, but I have only used it for about 45 min.

Oh and one more thing I called them when my gun broke and they said that there warenty only covers your gun if you use EXCEL bb's. Any thing else and you are S.O.L.

Why would i fly to texas to get a gun?

Why would i fly to texas to get a gun?LOL...order online and they'd ship it to you. If you didn't catch it, Downslide's post contained a link to their website. ;)

The whole issue with trades (If I am wrong on this, let me know) is that TM and other manufactures do not have the legal right to sell for instance a COLT styled gun with authentic logo. They never purchased the copyright to it. If you buy one with trades it is usually a couple of ways they got it. Either they bougnt it in parts and build it here. or Customs missed it. I am sure there are more, I just don't know them. As far as I am concerned, if TM doesn't have the rights to do it, i am not mad over not getting it.

I do beleive that most of the guns Gary sells have trademarks. I know Vig's M16 still has the trades.

Sometimes, this can get painful...

Crow, I'll back you up on that. I've read that its a combination of Trademark infringement AND customs regulation of firearms authentication. But depending on the horse you get it from, the story is always a little hazy...

No TM doesnt have the rights to any of the logo's they stamp on their guns. However they are in Japan and trademark laws are a ****ing joke. HK threatened to sue some time back for using their guns likeness's.

The trademark and copyright laws are not the same "over there" as what it is here (in the USA), meaning if they wanted to rip off an american product and use the same name, in their country they cannot be sued or get in trouble for it.

They can put down a lot of pressure if necessary. For example, the electronics company based in Japan called NEC discovered that there were products out in the Asian market that not only copied their products designs, but also threw their NEC logo on items that they didn't even make. They were able to put enough legal pressure down to launch an investigation where they discovered factories scattered in China and Taiwan. As far as I know, the Taiwanese factories were shut down, though I'm not clear on what happened in China.

That said, I'm going to guess that if certain real-steel companies got bothered enough, they could do something about the use of their trademarks on airsoft guns. As it stands, though, I still enjoy getting a "pristine" item when I can.

I've been spending the past two years researching online stores for Airsoft . And have learned... Airsplat, Jungle Toy ((once my favorite)), and Shorty USA aren't the greatest stores to buy from. I'm still hoping to frind a U.S. store close to Redwolf to buy TM's for under $250.:(

Red Wolf is Chinese. You won't find new TM's under $250 unfortunatly, they are just not out there. Those places you mentioned though are more expensive compared to some of the more mainstream oline stores. But they do seem to cater to all different leves and that is nice.

Power Edge is in Hawaii and because of that shipping is about twice what it would be from a mainland company, so you still end up over $250. Thats why their prices are lower. Good Company though

You can find MP5 K's and MP7's under $250, And I have seen the old FAMAS's go for around $230, but thats about it.

I'm soory this took so long... but I bought a used TM G3 SG1 with all the goodies for $250. Next year I would buy a new CA G3 SG1 or CA G33 to check out CA guns. Also I think I'm done buying used guns for now.... I hope :(

"If" Wolf Recon or anyone else ever needs an extra person I'm a... "Jedi for hire" the only payment I ask is that you drive me to the event and with my "crap".

I'm the Tooth Fairy, and I still have to pay to drive my own ass to games.

I thought I was the tooth Fairy.... Well, ok, just a fairy.....

A-Ron is right though, all or most of us have to pay our own way to drive to games, if you love the sport enough, you will drive yourself, or chip in for gas.

Airsoft = JediBGP's true calling.

I got plenty of gas money and... that ain't the problem and will never be.... but.... I've have driven over 100,000 miles in the past 7 years and ...would like someone else drive once and while. Hell, I would even let them drive my car if they have a driver's licence. I will get sick of driving alone/dragging my butt to matches/games....it will get depressive...ha...ha.... :)

Also with the whole " Jedi for hire" thing I was trying to be a Mercenary for hire for any Wisconsin Airsoft team. I'm not ready to become apart of team yet.... I'm still a ..... "One man wrecking crew" :D

I got my M-4 from precision. I wasnt happy. none of the upgrades were done to it and it took 3 weeks to get it.They were very nice when i called and bitched though and responded to my e-mails quickly. Also I was told after the fact that they were in the process of moving their warehouse and that was the reason for the mix-up and delays. I will not order from them again though. Jakael
