Alright.

I am 13, Im not at the age yet to play airsoft.

But I was woundering what I could do to preparem till I am the age.

Perhaps, practice with play guns? or practice missons with full camo and play guns?

That might sound rediculous but, its there anything I could do to prepare?

Just make sure that you have found and secured common sense. That is all that we really hope for from players. Whether you are good or bad at airsoft makes no difference as long as you play safe.

There is a beginners game on Saturday the 6th of May that you can attend and see what all you have to "prepare" for.

In other aspects, IMO, read up on the sport, get used to guns and termanology, and then once u hit 15, get out to some games and have fun!

i would suggest saving up some money, getting yourself a nice gun, and some good gear. then pay attention to the forums for the beginners games (which you CAN go to) and try to find some people in your area to play with..and have fun! in 2 years, you will be happy you did that, because then you will already have the things you need, and you will be used to them.

another thing that might help you out, is studying tactical hand signals.

Seeing as how you are 13 I wouldn't spend a dime on gear right now. You are going to practically double in size by the time you are ready and set to play so spending money on gear made for little tots sounds like a bit of a waste.

oops, i didnt think of that. good point fish... however, i will say this, there is gear (tac. vests, and such) that are the "one size fits all"

Keep in mind, a lot of the stuff you can buy now, MOLLE Rigs, Crossdraws, etc. is very customizable. You can adjust it to almost any size. But if your extrememly skinny, thats where problems have come in for me in the past. I've had problems with crossdraws fitting correctly along with LBV style vests because of all the weight I lost. I went through probably 10 different vests before I found the perfect one for me.

We have a sherpers, but they don't speicalize in airsoft by any means.

Is there any websites where I could find feilds in Milwaukee?

So maybe I could there and observe a combat. if they let you.

and secondly. You probaly get asked this fifteenmillion times but, What does a feel like when you it hits you? I know it depends on distance and range.

wargame room (http://www.thewargameroom.com/)

as for the feel of it, hmmm, well i dont know how to describe it all that well, but it doesnt hurt that bad, unless its from an upgraded sniper rifel from 50- ft. so yea and thats not even all that bad.

if you really wanna know, go buy a springer pistol at walmart, and have a friend shoot you from about 10 ft (both of you in safety goggles) and that would be about equal to a stock AEG at 30 ft. so yea.

sometimes i dont think people understand that we're playing a game. it's not a military simulation. there is no real training. you're firing plastic pellets out of an electric or gas gun. There really is no recoil, no real tactics, blah blah. just have fun. prepare for fun?

sorry about GD, however some of us actually do take this seriously, not just as kids running around shooting plastic pellets. yes, you are absolutly correct, its fun, and meant to have fun. but i like the tactics, and hand signals, whats better than going into a game with a gameplan? but yes, you are absolutly correct, it is meant for fun.

thank you =]

If I would do this, I would take it for real, but still do it for fun.

Not just run around and shoot random people.
