I am writing this in the hopes to better answer the reoccuring themes that come up like what team to join and what gear to buy.
You can read a hundred threads on this forum giving you different ideas of what to do in that vein. But there is truly one best way to do it.
How to determine what do buy and what team to join in airsoft.
Step one: Buy an AEG that fits your personality. This part I have no new information on. Get one Hi cap and a Battery and 2,000 rounds of ammo.
(nothing more, I will get to why later)
Step 2: Get a gallon or so of water, put on whatever best camo you have ALLREADY IN YOUR HOUSE and come to a game.
Step 3: Observe players, playing styles and loadouts (Gear and cloths). and also take note of how you end up playing. (are you a low or high volume shooter, do you roll areound on the ground, tyhat kind of stuff)
Step 4: If you decide to join a team then get their uniform or else if you find that a team isn't your bag, get what you want.
Now, go and buy stuff. Good chance you just saved yourself a ton of money from having bought too much of the wrong gear.
