I am looking to buy a new vest, but was wondering what kind everyone prefers. Also, I am really leaning towards a modular vest, so advice is greatly appreciated. Please, pros/cons to everything.
Thanks
JJ

Also, I was intrested in this vest (http://www.optactical.com/modulartacvest.html)

has some cheap replica tac vests, i prefer webgear over a vest, but you could make your own vest like reconRamza did.

hey, Iv got this $80 LBV id be willing to sell you for $40 shipped.

It's Black, has 4 pouches on the front that can fit 2 m16, or 4 Mp5 mags. It can also fit G36c, and G3 mags. It just barely fits AK-47 mags, you cant get the pouches buttoned though you can stil get the velcrow pads to stick with the AK mags in it. It also has 2 frag grenade pouches and clips to hold a pistol belt.

Iv had it for about a year now, and really have no use for it since I sold off my AK and now have a P-90TR. It's in absoloutly perfect pristine condition. no tears or breaking seems. It is in exactly the same condition I bought it in (brand spankin new).

It was originally $80 @ the Army navy surplus, I just want $40 out of it, so I can get myself a thigh mag pouch for my P-90.

One thing to remember KA-JJ, that vest that you linked to is a modular type so you'd have to buy the pouches you need. These give you flexiblity in the rig setup you want but cost $$ as you don't have any pouches to begin with. The others that come with "X" mag pouches, "X" pistol mag pouches, etc are ready to go right away but if you want/don't want certain things (like a pistol holster on your vest) or want a different configuration (like double the amount of mags or a large pouch on one side) you may be looking at buying a new vest. The tactical vests that are already put together and not very customizable are usually cheaper than building an equivilent modular vest (BH aside) but you'll give up flexiblity if that's a concern for you.
