Saterday, June 17th 2006.

The Big Destruction Show off.

Field Opens at 7am, Briefing at 9:00am, game starts after Breifing is over and questions are answered, game ends at 4pm.

Field Fees $20.00- there will be NO raffle. (See below as to why)

4:30 awards handed out. Number of awards will be determined by the number of people attending the event but player of the day will receive an AEG. the more people the more prizes. After 35 people there will be 2 AEG's awarded.

Teams will be assigned as to the uniform they are wearing period. So make sure your team has the same uniform if you want to play on the same side.

Due to the expected size of the game we are asking that people arrive as eairly as possible to help with the starting of the game on time.

Rule of the field

Kill rags required.

Health weaver needs to be filled out and can be found here.http://thewargameroom.com/forum/index.php?topic=17.0

Anyone under 18 that needs the Safety Briefing please let Gary know and he will plan to hold this shortly after 8am, this will take about 20-25 minutes.

Supplies and snacks will be available at the field as always

The Event Rules

This is a non-stop event so be prepared to bring what you need with you out on to the field. People arriving early may take supplies to there main base on the field after there guns have been cronied, tagged, and recorded. Any gun used in the game must be tagged. I would recommend getting to the cronie as soon as you arrive then gearing up to cut down on the delay. The cronie will be available at 7:00am. You will be assigned a team and given a score card after you have paid the field fee. You will need this to get on to the field. You get one score card and it will be your responsibility to keep it thru out the game if you want to win.

Anyone arriving after the briefing will need to wait till the next insert time to start playing. When the briefing starts if you have not paid your fee cronied your gun you will also need to wait till the next insert time to play. There will be some one in the safe area to check people in about every hour.

Team lay out

Very simple there are 2 teams each team will have an equal number of objectives and an equal number of available points they can earn.

There is 1 mad bomber with a bomb (yes an actuall working device) that only he knows how to use. That is avaliable for hire by either team. This position has all ready been filled. The details of his involvement in the game are as follows.

The Mad Bomber

He works for who ever gets to him first and continus to work for them un till he is either killed or captured. if captured he will start to work for the other team. If killed he will be re inserted with the bomb at a random place in the feild where he will wait for the next team to hire him.

His job is only to plant and defend his bomb he is not there to support your team in any other way. after he plants his bomb he will defend it useing his side arms. (Pistols and shotguns) no AEG.

The person playing this position is non other than Gary from TWGR he will also be acting as a feild judge for the game so there will really be 3 OC's on the field at all times.

team gear and sides

US / Nato Forces team: One main leader is needed for for this team who will be in contact with OC thru out the game. Uniform chooses to be on this team are as follows Tiger stripe, Woodland, OD or full blown Guille suits. Your gear must match top and bottom.

Terriost team: One main leader is needed for for this team who will be in contact with OC thru out the game. Uniform chooses to be on this team are as follows anything other then what is on the US / Nato team. So any mixed uniforms, street cloths, digi, muti cam, desert, etc will be on this team. I would hope that some of the player on this side get a little creative. (***NEW ADDITION***) Due to the new terriost uniforms people with such uniforms at the game will be issued a hit card at the start of the game. Details of how this card will be used will be given the day of the game.

Vests and other assories do not count as part of your uniform so if you are wearing OD top and bottom and have a black vest you are on the US side.

The leaders of the teams are needed so that the OC's can give updates and additional intel. The leaders of the teams are First come First serve, so if you are intrested in taking on a lead role in this game let me know asap.

The Game:

The game will start with both teams at there main base. Intel of base locations will be given to team leaders day of the game, and the mad bomber at a un disclosed location on the field. Leaders will be given grided maps with areas that they must control, destroy, or over run to score points. to destroy a structure the mad bomber must be found he must then set and defend the bomb till it goes off. Any structure that is destroyed will then become un-usable during the rest of the game.

If one team can over run and blow up the other teams main base there base will be unuseable for 20mins. after the team has cleared the area. this includes all supplies left in the base. Radio comunication will be alowed for both teams unless certain objectives have been acheved that would cause one team to loose the ability to comunicate.

Scoring

OK scoring will go as follows

destroying targets / structures points will vary from 10-50 depending on the value of the target. these values will be marked on the maps given to the team leads prior to the game start.

the OC's will keep track of structures that are destroyed and mark them out. these points are awarded to your whole team. so when an objective is meet the team is awarded the points. if during the course of the game you decide to take a break that is fine but in the event your team scores points you will not be issued these points.

points for hostages will be awarded to groups turning in hostages. If you are captured the group no more then 3 people will each recive 1 point. the captuared person must be returned to the base of the capturing team. at which point the captured player may return to there base before returning to play. there are no negative points for being captured just a bit of walking lol.

individual points will be awarded for good team work and leadership, outstanding play as well as anything else the OC want or feel points should be issued for. these points are at the descrition of the OC to issue. begging for points will get you nothing but negative points so don't try it.

with all the recent talk of cheating these rules will be used for this game.

1) you are caught cheating you will be deducted 20 points for the first offence. this is if one of the OC's see's that you are in blatent violation of the rules set forth for the game.

2) second offence you will be asked to leave the game and field. no questions asked.

These decisions will be made by the OC's of the game.

Current OC's of the game are as follows\

Gary "The Mad Bomber"
OverKill
BushRag

After 30 people have commited I am going to assign the next round of OC's
and for every 10 people there will be one more oc so 60 people 6 OC's

Re Spawning

after you have died you are to put your kill rag on your head and proceed to the Safe area. If for what ever reason you have lost your kill rag you are to raise your gun above your head. After 5 people total (so 4 from 1 team and 1 from another counts),have reached the safe area an air horn will be avaliable to be blown in the event that there is no OC present to re insert you into the game. after you are cleared to rejoin the game you must return to your respawn point. There will be 2 for each team at the start of the game. After reaching this point you may beging playing.

we are looking to keep you guy's in the game as much as possible but the 5 person rule is only there if there is no OC present in the safe area. If there is an OC in the safe area after checking in you may return, to your respawn.

So for an example your respawn point is being attacked. As long as you have one person from your team there, you may respawn there. As soon as you remove your kill rag you can start playing. this does not mean that you can come up behind those players attacking your base after leaving the safe area. Just that you can return to that structure.

Respawn points can be destroyed. At which point that team can not respawn at that location for the rest of the game. there will be a 150ft rule for each spawn area. To try and help with spawn camping. Players may enter and leave any spawn area but must not remain at an area of the other teams spawn. (unless they are in possesion of the bomb and are targeting that structure. or one with in that area.)

Prizes

ok all money after the field fee will be used in the prizes for the game so the more people the more prizes.

-For the player with the most points at the end of the day an AEG will be awarded if you are on the Terriost side it will be an AK47 if you are on the US side it will be a M4A1. both will be given if there are more then 35 people attending.

-There will be 4 Custom Awards handed out for the event.

there will be other prizes that will be added to the list as the date of the game gets closer and people start to sign up.

In the event of a tie for 1st place we will hold a raffel between the partys involved and the first number drawn will be first place. 2nd will be 2nd etc this will be how all ties will be handled.

Are you aware that by giving prizes to individuals for winning you are going to encourage cheating? There should be no winning players in airsoft, only winning teams. That said it will not determine whether or not I attend because frankly I won't miss a free Well gun at all. I just thought you might want a warning that you might be scaring some great players away with the prizes.

well yes we have thought of that and that is why this is in there

"with all the recent talk of cheating these rules will be used for this game.

1 you are caught cheating you will be deducted 20 points for the first offence
2 second offence you will be asked to leave the game. "

if you are hit with a negative 20 point penalty you can forget about prizes. besides I am hoping the the people that are scared away are the cheaters other wise myself and the other OC's of the game have no problem booting cheaters from the field. so if the players feel they are that great all they need to do is show up and prove it and they will win. unless the fact that they think they are better then they are is what scares them.

as for no individual winners and only a team that wins I disagree and that is why other than how you gain points for your team all individual scoring will be keep secret. this game has been attacked for over 6 months and is still being proofed out to make it run as smooth as possible. the individuals that help there teams achive victory will be rewarded.

Hope that relives some of your conserns as for prizes scsring people away well we are putting all money back into prizes so the more people the more prizes so the more winners, and this game will have a few suprise twists. that will be sure to level the playing field for all people playing.

Hot, long, sweaty, hot, humid, draining, hot, tiresome, streneus (sp?), hot, fun, hard but easy, hot, challenging, made you have to think did I mention hot?

Why didn't anyone else show up? Please dont' tell me that you thought it was too hot to play today?

Sad sad sad... small turnout. You guys missed an AWESOME game.

I died alot, but what can I say. I always got my butt into combat when needed, and took 13 for the team.

Thank you Gary and Overkill, it was an awesome game.
I especialy love my prize...

(Freakin' Purple Heart, baby, oh yeah!)

Terrorists, you put up a hell'ov'a fight for us, and made it enjoyable. I'm just sorry that we didn't put up to great of one until the ending part(s), the heat was killer and we didnt' really take as good of care of ourselves as we normaly do before games.

WoOOOOOOOOOOOOO

That was KICK ASS, for everyone who didnt showup, u missed a hell of a game...
I especially liked the layout.

I havent ran that hard since kennedy's BloodGulch II

Even though only ten people were there total including Overkill(OC) I still had a killer time and it was worth every penny...

And yeah the terrorist did a hell of a job, I really wasnt ready for the heat physically either.

He was firing the little shotgun that overkill let him use every now and then.

The game turned out completely different than i expected, but in a good way. Its been awhile since we have a game with that low of numbers but its cool when you dont see people for 15-30 min until your halfway across the field and you see them pop out of the woods (both teams). Not to mention the teams were pretty equal id say, a player would kill an enemy, and in return an enemy would kill another player, a big cycle... We started pushin back towards the end and then end-ex was called, bummer... Like kade said, i was on the move alot during that game (other than when aron had me and koph's sit in a bunker for 15 min), and the heat was pretty bad.

All in all this game turned out to be something really good, i always told my team i didn't really like the big cluster-**** games (40-50+) so this was nice...

Thx gary for the field, overkill for putting it on, the players for making this game hard and that evil bomber.

Now when are you gunna post them pics?

Logan and I sat up near tower one for that fifteen minutes too doing nothing. We were taking an "on field rest" lol

That one bomb would have tied the game though (he would have had one more if we didnt waste that one on tower 3 :o)
