It is at the wargame room field.
Team is determined how many show up.
FPs for full autos, is 400 or under, anything over 400 is considered a sniper, min engagement distance is 100 feet. Max is 550 fps. Semi auto only and no hi cap for it. Also, there is a min engagement distance of 10 feet with automatics. Closer than that go bang. You have to have something pointed at them though. Can't use your finger.

1. WGR website (http://www.thewargameroom.com/) has a map/ address for the field linked to it. Follow the directions to the field in Batavia/ Adell. The location in 'Stallis is the store front.
2. Since there is nothing posted about team size, I'll let Gary pipe in. (I'm guessing 5-7 per team, but that's a guess)
3. Gary uses the WAA fps guidelines, which are 400fps or less for full-auto aegs at ranges of 10ft or more. 400-550fps, semi-auto for ranges of 100ft or more. 400+fps may not engage targets at less than 100ft.
-edit- WAA rules can be found here (http://wiairsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?t=386). Check under the rules of conduct for game/ safety rules.
More info will be posted closer to the game date.
Rules are as stated above, WAA guildlines.
RSVP for me!!! I've got the Airsoft itch!

If your actually in Sun Prarie, just take a run into Madison. You can get a full, top/bottom, woodland BDU for liek $50 at Dicks.
I'll borrow you a pair if you'd like. I have a pair of Large Regular pants if you want to borrow them.

so then whats the Camo Scheme for the teams ?
*Sob, Sob* I only have woodland. Therefore I'll be on that team (whichever that may be).
If everyone wears woodland we will figure something out, the teams will be kept small 4-7 people, so keeping track of your teammates should not be very difficult.

I've given up Woodland, every pair I've had has ripped on me, in the same place too. So far Tiger Stripe has served me well, and I'll be keeping with it. So I'm with the Tigers on this one.

15 Mar 06, 02:50 PM
Well, I figure I will be the only person wearing OD, but hey, what the heck. Any takers on OD. If not, it would only be natural for me to be with the tigers.
Otherwise I guess it will be me verus everyone.

Don't mean to thread crap.. but does this mean that The War Game Room store front will be closed?? Was planning to drive down to Milwaukee and pick out my beginners gun?
To the best of my knowledge, Gary has somebody watching the store while games are running. Shoot him a PM to verify. (User name: GaryB)

Wooha, I'll be there for my first game. Full woodland BDU, but OD boonie and ACU vest.
-EDIT- If the vest screws stuff up, I can try to get by with just a belt instead.
-Question for all ya'll- Do you keep your rifle bags, pistol cases, etc... in your cars, or do you lug everything out to the field? Never been there and not sure what to do with my stuff.

Quail actually, but I figure for Cheney, a Deer is close enough.
Gary has his staging area that we keep our cases and bags out in. Some do keep theirs in their cars though.

Yes, this happend to me too. It says its forbiden. Maybe because I'm at school right now. They block everything, even educational stuff.
Its internet wide (tried from 3 different sources). Looks like Gary's hosting account is suspended, hope he can work that out....

Haha this was such a sweet game, nice weather, and somehow one of the 5 man teams of first half turned into a 20 man alliance the 2nd half, pretty good battles on the main field during the last 2 hours of the day or so, though.
Thanks to Gary for the use of his field, and thanks to John for the ride. Yet another great Airsoft Day. And man was it beautiful weather. Good Game Fellas!

Yeah it's a good scenario, my only complaint is that waiting 20-30 mins for your entire team to make their way to the safe zone if your flag got taken got old pretty fast.
what can i say... it was a marvelous day, for a moment there i thought that john/jamie had doublecrossed me, but then it was all good and our massive team was aweose! except for how badly my hip hurts!

Very fun game. Our rag tag team had a blast and worked very together. Vig, SuperG, Bridgh and the other guys who's names I can't recall played great as a team even though most of us have not played together before. The defence of our spawn point(6) was spectacular. In particular when we were attacked by what seemed liked 3 teams at once(though uncoardinated thankfully) from 3 different directions before the break. Lots of fun in the afternoon as well when we moved up to the trench holes around 1.

Yeah, the main thing is that you had fun. You're right not to worry about getting a kill you're first game, as you seemed to be doing everything else well for your first game.

-edit- shortened up Raspootin's quote.
Yeah, that was one of my favorite firefights of the day. We had a pretty solid defense going, but they still almost snuck around and flanked us. Good thing the underbrush was a bit thin down the path from the lower bunker! :o
the lack of coordination on the first assult was a bit of a mishap. lol, the assult was suppose to be as soon as one side was in place and fired, we would move in. well that didnt' happen because they were a bit late in moving into their position, and we were being watched. someone started shooting and we just went it. lol, didn't really care at that point that i might get shot, i just wanted to get out of the mud puddle i was in
