Game: (I have had this idea for a while, was just unsure if it would get enough people. Here is hoping that it will.)

COBRA, an international terrorist organization bent on world domination has resurfaced and has set it's sights on holding the entire world for ransom with a deadly biological weapon. The weapon is currently being held on COBRA island.

With this disturbing news, the joint chiefs have asked for GI Joe to be reactivated. GI Joe is the codename for America's daring, highly trained special mission force. It's purpose; to defend human freedom against COBRA, a ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world.

GI Joe's primary mission will be to stop COBRA. Let's see if the cartoon world translates over to the real world. ;) (Those that know GI Joe, will understand.)

This game sounds pretty fun and intersesting. The only thing is that it seems like a lot of vehicles are used in the GI Joe cartoon, but I think it should be fun.

I'm thinking that it would be cool to see everyone dressed up and having a big group photo of it, ah the memories. ;)

The vehicles did play a part in the cartoon when they needed to get somewhere. But I'm still hoping that this will be a fun game that a lot of people will want to participate in even without vehicles.

Ya, a group pic would be cool, but I am having a difficult time trying to find all the characters form GI Joe. I have some old figures that arent on some of the sites Ive looked at. I also lost my favorite Cobra a long time ago...

Randy, your Barbie's and Ken dolls do not classify as GI Joe's. J/k man ;)

I have this one GI joe, he has a crap load of surveillance equipment and an M16, I will be him. He kinda looks like MR. T.

If you want to catch a few of the classic episodes, visit the hasbro website. Just hope you have broadband...

Takes forever to download the episodes, but they do have a few.

This sounds like fun. It's always nice to have something new once in awhile.

I'm sorry, but these are just hilarious. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/gijoe.html

It might be Sneek-Peek or Psyche-Out. If anything PM me with a drawn out description and I will figure it out for you. What can I say, after having them and collecting them for so many years, I know these things. :D

Right now Snake Eyes is on my mind, but I doubt people would want me to start sword fighting :D , but I could do knife kills. I am still technically undecided though.

Snake Eyes also carried a suppressed Mini Uzi, at least in the comic books. It looked pretty bad-ass.

Oh man.

Well it does sound fun and I really want to get out to the Dragon's Lair. Count me in. I call (fat) Storm Shadow. Unless someone thinks they can do a better job.

Now who is going to call Destro?

This looks great, but then again, I am up for just about anything airsoft related, can we get a bit more of an idea what you are planning for camo/weapon restrictions on GI Joe ex no russian/terrorist weapons or something, no idea wether that would work but it would add to the whole effect ;)

Weapon restrictions, no. At times I think that the uniform requirements are too much. The main thing is that when you play a part, most people should know who you are portraying. I don't want things to be exact, I want the players to be creative. Play the part, but make it your own.

Here is an example, During Op: DF II I wore a Black flight jacket, STU Pants, and had an Airsoft "Kevlar" helmet with goggles on it. I made the off the cuff remark, "I look like general Hawk". See, make it your own, but make it so you can be recognized as who you are playing.
