Don't let the posts get to you. I know it's frusterating sometimes but in the end I think this issue will get resolved. I don't know for sure, but I think this is probably a first (correct me if i'm wrong) for a situation like this. It's a new type of problem for people, and posting the "down to earth" truth of the issue is probably a bit shocking to people. In a world where younger age people can get away with quite a bit, it is my opinion that it's hard for the younger crowd to rationalize the serious consequences of a physical confrontation. I think your posts were fair and in context.

Im positive he has been in this sport much longer than you have. If you don't like it, don't say anything about...just sit back and watch everyone else. Anybody here watch Fox News Channel...this is like Bill Orielly and "bloviating" or even better yet like Hannity and Combs which usually has people arguing with one another. Ya know, sometimes I feel I might get more entertainment watching WWF Smackdown, but then again someone posts something that changes all that.
I think that all have points to make and quite often the best answer is a combination of the myriad points of view. Unfortuantely many here believe that their opinion is the only valid one and will fill this board with it. Please take some time and sit back and openly consider differing points of view. Also take some time and consider the manner by which you post your opinion and remember, the printed word does very little for conveying the true meaning of the comment. Use caution in what you post...I'm tired of these board-flame-wars. This isn't much better, and quite frankly worse, than arguing on the field as to whether I hit you...no you didn't.

Give us a break...this is a game! Unfortunately, it has some challenges that bring about potential for people to concern themselves with it as a result of the safety aspect. I appreciate competition and playing to win, but again this is a game that just happens to have safety concerns.

Lets all stop jumping to conclusions...agree to disagree...play the game honorably...and have fun / get along.

How would i re-act? I wouldn't have swung at him for sure...I know better than that. I HAVE been in that situation MANY times, you forget...I have been airsofting for quite some time in my young age, I know what to do and not to do.

Amen my thoughts exactly. Now I don't think Maple should quit airsoft and I didn't even vote but I have to say it is **** threads like this. What is the point? I'm personaly not taking any sides because i didn't see it (I was in the safe area), but this stuff is starting to get out of hand... Gary took the steps in order to take care of this s**t stain.. Why continue to argue about something thats already been taken care of? It's redundent... Just like alot of the older (not calling you old, just mature) guys have said, what does arguing get anyone? It doesn't seem like its solving anything.. Just pissing off the people that actually do know what happend and the ones that were involved, and the ones that are taking care of the two parties (the field owner, GB, and the two separate teams...)

One thing about the incident is its definatly an learning experience for the two guys that it happend to... And I'm sure it wont happen again with those two guys...

Now tell us when was that last time something like this happend? And tell me something that got this much attention fromt the ones that were not involved?

for starters when the gun was raised it was shot and shot him along the stomach and he is aware of this... i think if you never want a gun pointed at you within 10 ft you should not play when people take prisoners they hold a gun up to the person.I would also ask you never play cqb as well since there is shooting within 10 ft. and i do know that doesnt change what i did IT WAS WRONG AND I APOLOGIZED TO HIM.
