I was just wondering are they worth it, I need a small sidearm, considering my AK will be huge to lug around, and I love it to death, but will be impossible to turn quick in the hotel and areas like that, but other than buildings it will be fine, so I was thinking of getting an uzi for a sidearm, or possibly two, but do any of you have experience with one of these TM uzi's?

I suggest the Mp5k. the Uzi is kinda cursed with a lack of any real upgrades. Plus it's pretty bulky so it's really a little too big to carry around as a back up weapon. The Mp5k on the other hand takes pretty much any accesory the regular Mp5's can use and you can get this neat shoulder-side sling for it (I saw it on Redwolf they have a nice picture of it on their though I am sure you can find it else where if you are afraid of Redwolf or something.... It also takes standard Mp5 magazines so if you want you could even use that cheap TOP drum for it (I don't recommend it though, too many horror storys about it..). hope this helps.

Yea, I have an mp5a4, but I dont want another Mp5 series gun, I just thought the UZI is all gangster and what not, and it has a bigger hicap too.

Nah, I already thoguht about the g18 aep, I have a pistol, but I would like something with a bit more firepower, and something where when the brush gets too thick, slap the ak on my back and bring out hte sidearm. I thought about the sig 552, but I dunno.

Oh yes, I thoguht about it, but a bit too big. Great for other things though. Sometime in the future.

Yeah the SIG 552 is basically a rifle. I don't think it would qualify as a SMG.

I figured you know that you wanna be able to throw alot of BB's at them very quickly so why not just do it in one pull of the trigger. No?

How about this?

Well if you're looking for a sidearm. This might be a good choice...granted its not ganster(thats just F**king retarded). But it is better than a full-size SMG.

How about dual Mac 11s?

Dual big macs are more satisfying.

More of a sub sandwich guy myself, but whatever floats your boat I guess.
If you didn't mind the weight, a P90 would also be a really nice for those close encounters of the airsoft kind.

Well yea, the UZI is just awesome, and besides, its great for cqb.

Is the Uzi a pretty good gun? I was just wondering because I never see anything for them (accesories, up-grades) so I always thought I should avoid this one. Maybe I was wrong.

I know its hard to go to google and research it...but here is a link that might help.

it just wasnt the whore like the M4/MP5 is. Weapons of the free world seem to reign a majority of the market in airsoft.
Reguardless, yes its a good gun.

Yea, but its probably not worth upgrading though, from what I seen it has good rate of fire, and thast about all it has.. lol. We shall see.

Timmay

worth upgrading? how can you say that you just asked if the guns even worth buying?

worth upgrading is relative. finding parts. installing parts. longevity. pros/cons. how much you paid for the gun, parts, service, resale value. it all factors in.

so you cant just say its not worth it. maybe to you, but not to others.

Well, like how I usually upgrade things though, dumping at least another 300 dollars into an aeg. I would still upgrade it slightly, but just looking at the stuff I saw on it, it looks good as is.

considering whats out there for a V4 box/Uzi in general, theres not much you can buy to have done.

Yeah and this is one of those major point's I would look for in a gun is if I would be able to upgrade it down the road. Though an UZI is mostly made for CQB I would like the door to be open down the road if I decided to do any upgrade work. Thanks for the info.

The uzi is not a "gangsta" gun. All that horse**** you see in movies is exactly that. Most gang members have cheap 25 autos and .22 pistols. I've seen many of the handguns taken by gang units and they aren't Glocks or anything glamourous. Half the time, they aren't anything you could actually use for anything other than shooting someone from two feet.

The Uzi is not some pup SMG you can just strap on. It is still a full-sized AEG. If you don't like carrying around an MP5A5 then you should consider a GBB or NBB, because an Uzi is still large enough that you would have some weight to deal with.

If you want something upgradeable, buy the MP5K. If you want something smaller and easier to carry, buy the MP5K. If you want something "gangsta." I'm sure there are several members here who would be more than happy to give you a "beat down." wurd

Get a KSC TMP (http://www.nemesis-airsoft.fi/tuote_kuvat/ksc-tmp-b.jpg)

I have one and I love it.

I like the AEP glock the most. It is small, pulls smooth out of the holster when you remove the front sight, you can upgrade it, more third party parts are coming out still like a lanyard that connects to a larger battery, it is small enough not to get in the way, and it is semi or full auto.

If you're looking for shine value, go with the Robocop/M9 thingy (http://21stcenturyairsoft.com/details/KSC-B93RA9).

If you're looking for the "Gangsta" look (though i don't know why, I mean, how many Russian Spetznaz do you see with tags and gang rangs?) look for a TEK 9, but I could only find some springers.
I agree about the TMP/SPP (http://21stcenturyairsoft.com/details/KSC-SPP). Good holsterable mini gun.

The others to look at:
Skorpion (http://21stcenturyairsoft.com/details/MARUZEN-SCORPIONVZ61), though I'd lose the folding stock, then you can holster this too.
or the handy Mini-Uzi (http://21stcenturyairsoft.com/details/MARUZEN-UZIU)

I still think a regular NBB or EBB would do you just fine. If you NEED full auto, get a 93R.
